Grammar is perennial problem. As my native languages are Belorusian and Russian, it's hard to me to build sentences according to the rules of English. So I decided to start learn grammar of English from beginning to end. Previously I studied grammar only fragmentary, but now I understand that without grammar I cannot write articles correctly (generally speaking, I dislike grammar). First I start from parts of speech. There are 9 parts of speech (the Noun, the Adjective, the Numeral, the Pronoun, the Verb, the Adverb, the Preposition, the Conjunction, the Interjection) in English. I selected the book "К.Н. Качалова, Е.Е. Израилевич Практическая грамматика английского языка" for my studies.

Johann Wolfgang Goethe (1749 — 1832)

Wandrers Nachtlied

(ночная песнь странника = песнь на ночь: die Nacht — ночь + das Lied — песнь)

?ber allen Gipfeln (над всеми вершинами: der Gipfel)

Ist Ruh (покой: die Ruhe),

In allen Wipfeln (во всех верхушках: der Wipfel)

Sp?rest du (чувствуешь ты)

Kaum einen Hauch (едва = почти никакого дуновения, дыхания);

Die V?gelein (птички: das V?g(e)lein; der Vogel — птица) schweigen im Walde (молчат в лесу: der Wald).

Warte nur (подожди только), balde (скоро: bald)

Ruhest du auch (ты тоже отдохнешь, обретешь покой).

And now without Russian translation:

Wandrers Nachtlied

?ber allen Gipfeln

Ist Ruh,

In allen Wipfeln

Die V?gelein schweigen im Walde.

Warte nur, balde

Ruhest du auch.
